Ingredients

butter
1/4
cup
flour
all purpose or einkorn
2
cups
milk
2/3
tsp
sea salt
pepper
to taste
Instructions
Melt butter in medium skillet on medium to high heat. see notes.
Once butter is melted whisk in flour until you have a creamy light brown roux
Once roux is formed and light brown pour in two cups of milk
Whisk until incorporated and once thickened turn heat to low
Add in salt and pepper then serve immediately over food of choice!
Notes
The butter will melt fast. Quickly add in your flour and keep a close eye on it so flour and butter mixture doesn't burn.
