How to make Authentic Mexican Rice with Bone Broth
I’ve made my fair share of clumpy rice but I can assure you this recipe is light fluffy. Plus just as good as what you’d get at a mexican restaraunt. You can pair this this Authentic mexican rice packed with wholesome ingredients to any mexican dinner of choice.
The first step is making sure your rice is nice and toasted in a skillet with tall sides. I love this one. Toasting the rice is the key to getting that nice texture so its not mushy. It also enhances the flavor. The more toasted the better, you’re looking for a nice golden color! Just be sure to continuously stir the rice to prevent burning.
Step 2
Once your rice is nice and fried youll want to add in your bone broth and water. I like to add in nutrient dense ingredients anywhere I can. Bone broth is an easy swap to use in dishes like rice, noodles, and soups. You can also use it to simmer veggies in!
